Our customer New Room Interior comes from first being a home interior webshop, called Mias Interiør, then developing into an online service providing interior consultation across the wide web.
After having used the Mias Interiør brand on the New Room Interior site for a while—in order to create familiarity for old customer—the brand Mias Interiør was faded out, and the webshop transferred to a new owner. This led to Maria from New Room Interior needing a new brand to connect her different projects—an umbrella-brand, or a mother-brand if you like. We decided to make a logo mark out of her name.
Starting from the old Mias Interiør brand, we stayed along some of the same lines, and kept the same typeface to keep it looking familiar but more modern. The fact that both logomarks start with a huge M in the same font definitely helps in making old faithful customers feel right at home.
