At the end of last year I found myself in a sticky situation.
I set 10 patrons as a goal for releasing the next Old Newspaper WordPress Theme update. Then we got to 9. I was all excited, and then people started dropping off.
At the same time, we were going through low season for new sales (Christmas, into the new year), so while I was waiting for new people to join, some of the old faithful started dropping off — which is understandable, when no new content comes out.
So I swallowed my pride, and adjusted the goal to our current number of patrons (7), and instead of wallowing in not reaching the goal I count myself happy that I got so close to my goal of 10 (we were once 9), and I released the new one.

Future Plans
I can’t wait to start working on the new update after this. The idea is to expand the three newspaper styles into at least three more, and two of them will be way more specific and artsy. And this time: No Patreon goals; I want to be free to release it whenever it’s ready.
